• This meeting is one of the last of it's kind where direct optometric vision therapist to optometric vision therapist education is provided. With a heavy emphasis on workshop style vs. didactic learning.  Granted, we do occasionally invite an optometrist to come and teach. This meeting is for optometric vision therapists by optometric vision therapists with the goal to implement therapy procedures the next time you walk into your vision therapy room. This meeting offers a family like environment with an unforgettable hospitality suite on Friday nights with food, drinks and door prizes.

• A hallmark of this meeting is the group sharing time where each person is encouraged to bring a favorite procedure to share with the group

One of the last of its kinds, this meeting has been operating annually since the 1970's. With an emphasis on diagnosis and treatment for vision disorders, vision therapy and rehab; this meeting equips an optometrist with tools to implement in their practice asap. This family like environment is a great opportunity to network and connect about VT and neuro-rehab.

Each course description will clearly indicate whether COPE continuing education credit is available and how many hours are offered.

For the 2026 Wold Behavioral Vision Seminar, we are offering 10.5 hours of COPE-qualified continuing education (pending approval). For optometrists in California, all 10.5 hours are currently accepted as continuing education by the California State Board of Optometry. The full 10.5 hours are also currently accepted by OVDRA and OEPF for maintenance of certification for both COVT's and Fellows.

The COPE-qualified hours are divided as follows:

• 9.5 hours in Clinical Optometry, focused on Functional Vision/Pediatrics

• 1 hour in Related Systemic Disease, focused on Neuro-Optometry

In addition, optometrists and vision therapists who attend the Southern California Regional Vision Therapist Forum on November 6–7 will receive 12 hours of continuing education credit toward OVDRA and OEPF.

• Yes, this meeting is being offered in a Hybrid format

• Participants will be required to have their camera on for 50 minutes of each hour to receive continuing education credit.  

• Hybrid participants will be emailed the handouts and list of equipment before the meeting.  

• You will need to download Zoom onto your computer for optimal viewing of this meeting

• The registration price is per person, not per connection, violation of this may result in forfeiture of registration fees and disconnection from the meeting. 

• Hybrid attendees are strongly recommended to have a LAN (wired) connection, an external microphone, and participate in the meeting via the chat and virtual hands. 

• Hybrid attendees are encouraged to log on 15 to 30 minutes in advance of the meeting in case of connection troubleshooting.

•  Yes, the meeting will be recorded 

• Access to the recording will be available for four weeks after conclusion of the meeting. A link will be sent to the email that was used to register for the meeting. 

• By staying at the hotel that is hosting the event and using the negotiated room rate. To keep registration costs down, we have negotiated that a certain amount of rooms would be booked by our attendees. If you have the ability to, please stay at the hotel hosting the event as opposed to at a nearby Air-B&B or hotel.

• No. Due to rising costs to host this meeting multi-person discounts are no longer possible. 

• Yes! We have hosted attendees from over 10 countries both in-person and via the hybrid attendance option. 

• International pricing parity (IPP) allows us to offer reduced registration rates in certain countries where average income levels and purchasing power differ significantly from those in the United States and other higher-income regions. Our goal is to make high-quality education accessible to professionals worldwide while maintaining the quality of our programs.

• International pricing is available only to eligible participants and is based on the attendee's country of residence. Verification may be required.

We understand that plans can change. Due to event expense that include; hotel meeting space, food and beverage commitments, and technical support services, the following cancellation policy applies:

• Cancellations received more than 45 days before the event are eligible for a full refund minus a $100 administrative fee.

• Cancellations received 30–45 days before the event are eligible for a 50% refund.

• Cancellations received fewer than 11-29 days before the event are eligible for a 25% refund.

• Cancellations received fewer than 10 days before the event are not eligible for a refund.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

Registration Format Changes

Attendees may change their registration from in-person to virtual attendance, or from virtual to in-person attendance, up to one day before the event, subject to availability. Registrations may not be transferred to another individual or to a future event.

Access to Event Materials

Attendees who remain registered for the event will continue to receive access to any event materials, recordings, or online resources included with their registration. Participants who receive a refund will not receive access to event materials or recordings.

Emergency Circumstances

Medical emergencies and significant family emergencies will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. At the discretion of the organizers, attendees may be offered a registration conversion to virtual attendance or another accommodation.

Travel Disruptions

Refunds will not be provided for weather-related travel interruptions, airline cancellations, visa issues, personal scheduling conflicts, or other circumstances outside the control of the event organizers. When possible, attendees may convert their registration to virtual attendance.

Event Postponement or Force Majeure

If circumstances beyond the organizers' control; including natural disasters, government restrictions, public health emergencies, labor disruptions, or venue closures; prevent the seminar from being held as scheduled, registrations will be transferred to a future event. Registration fees are non-refundable under these circumstances.

The organizers are not responsible for airfare, hotel accommodations, currency conversion fees, bank fees, travel expenses, or other incidental costs incurred by attendees.

International Registrations

Refunds for international registrations will be processed in U.S. dollars. Any currency conversion fees, bank charges, or exchange-rate differences are the responsibility of the attendee.
